To maintain our services in a well-organized way, we have now
optimized our delivery departments completely. Our delivery team specializes in
handling all sorts of products efficiently and with much expert care. You can
be sure that your product is in the best possible hands, to optimize delivery
better we have categorized our delivery in the following two sections.
Refrigeration & Modular Systems:
We offer a Free Standard
Delivery with all our refrigeration products; a Standard delivery
consist of 3 to 5 working days between 08:00 and 17:00. We do offer a Next
Working day & timed delivery services for UK Mainland only, however, a small
extra charge will be applicable on all timed & next day deliveries. For all
other questions regarding delivery please feel free to contact us.
Note: It is important that you leave your refrigerated unit
unplugged up-till 6 hours after receiving delivery for the gas & compressor
oil to settle down.
We can consider deliveries to Ireland, Jersey, Isle of Wight, etc,
however, its recommended to contact us to find out the delivery charges ( in
some events delivery can be organized for nearest ports by special
arrangements), for all inquiries regarding delivery to Ireland please call us.
A small extra cost can be asked for delivery to the ground floor
premises, unpacking and position of the desired refrigerated product at your
desired place (Packaging will also be removed in such event).
Depending on the nature of the order i.e. Larges & Heavy items, we do use different couriers’ companies around the UK to get your order delivered in time.
THE MAJORITY OF OUR DELIVERIES ARE MADE ON 18 TON VEHICLES (these
are around 4m/13ft high and 11m/36ft long, approximately the size of a
double-decker bus).
It is recommended to let us know about any parking/delivery restrictions
before placing an order with us, any Parking Permit raised in such an event
shall be the customer’s responsibility. If you are unsure of your condition, please
feel free to call us in order to get your delivery in time. Please note, unpaid
parking permits/tickets can result in the cancellation of your warranty.
Abortive Delivery charges will be applicable in the event of a
refused delivery due to customer’s restrictions i.e. not present, back door
deliveries, stairs, basements etc, if you are unsure please feel free to
contact us, we are more than happy to help you.
Standard Delivery [UK
mainland]:
In our standard delivery service, a confirmation call will be made
to yourself to confirm your order & delivery with you. Depending on the
nature of your order you will be provided kerbside or Ground floor delivery
service. Clear access to the site is however required to make such possible. Our
deliveries are attempted between 08:00 and 18:00 hrs Mon to Fri.
Next Day Delivery [UK
Mainland]:
We do offer next day delivery services on various fridges which
will be accompanied by a two-man crew as a pavement drop option and will be
attempted during 8:00 to 18:00 hrs. A confirmation call will be made to you on
placing an order. Delivery will be attempted regardless your phone is answered
or not, please ensure you provide the best contact number to reach you upon order.
Aborted charges / Re-delivery charges will be applied in case of refused /
aborted delivery. If you are uncertain about your conditions, please call us.
Northern Ireland Delivery:
With some of our products, we can offer a two-day delivery service
which will be accompanied by a one-man crew and as a pavement drop option only.
(Offshore Islands are not included here).
Republic of Ireland Delivery:
With some of our products, we can offer a three-day delivery service
which will be accompanied by a one-man crew and as a pavement drop option only.
(Offshore Islands are not included here).
Special Delivery:
We can also offer timed delivery i.e. am and pm deliveries, such
deliveries can be arranged on a private hire vehicle or if you have any other
delivery requirement please feel free to contact us.
Mortuary Systems:
Delivery is attempted by known delivery companies in the UK, depending on your order, it may come as a package or on pallet, please speak to a member of staff if you are unsure about onsite delivery options before placing an order.
Shopfitting:
DELIVERY OF PRODUCTS:
Depending on the nature of the Service i.e. delivery of a profile,
component or a shopfitting project.
1.1.
We shall arrange
delivery of the Products as per your shipping address.
1.2.
Any dates quoted for
delivery of the Products are approximate only, and the time of delivery is not
of the essence. We shall not be liable for any delay in delivery of the
Products that is caused by a Force Majeure Event or the Customer’s failure to
provide us with adequate delivery instructions or any other instructions that
are relevant to the supply of the Products.
1.3.
If the Customer fails to
accept or take delivery of the Product(s):
1.3.1. Delivery of the Products shall be deemed to have been completed
when the Goods were dispatched by the Supplier, and.
1.3.2. the Supplier shall store the Products until actual delivery takes place
and charge the Customer for all related costs and expenses (including
insurance).
1.3.3. Product will be kept only for 10 Business Days, the customer will be
notified once again for their delivery, in this event if there is no response
from the customer, we reserve right to cancel this order or we may resell or
otherwise, dispose of part or all of the Products without prejudice to the
Supplier’s right to receive payment in full for the Products from the Customer.
1.4.
The Customer shall not
be entitled to reject the Products if the Supplier delivers more or less than
the number of Products ordered where the quantity delivered is that number of
the Supplier’s standard units of supply for those Products which is closest to
the quantity ordered, but a pro-rata adjustment shall be made to the Order
invoice on receipt of notice from the Customer within 2 business days of
receipt of the Products that the wrong quantity of Products was delivered.
1.5.
We may deliver the
Products by instalments, which shall be invoiced and paid for separately. Each instalment
shall constitute a separate contract. Any delay in delivery or defect in an instalment
shall not entitle the Customer to cancel any other installment.
1.6.
Failure by the Customer
to pay for any installment or delivery when payment is due shall entitle the
Supplier to withhold further deliveries.
1.7.
If the Customer fails to
accept delivery of any Products when tendered by the Supplier or in the event
of any delivery being delayed at the Customer’s request or in the event of the A customer failing to make any payment for any Products when it is due the
Customer shall be liable to the Supplier for any additional or excess handling,
storage or other charges whatsoever incurred by the Supplier in relation to the
Products or any other Products delivery of which the Supplier is then entitled
to withhold.
1.8. Unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing any completion or delivery date given by the Supplier is an estimate only made under current conditions, shall not be or become a term of the contract or any contract collateral thereto, is given without any legal commitment and the Supplier shall not be liable for any warranty or representation which may have been made in the course of negotiation in relation to completion or delivery date and no times quoted, specified or agreed for delivery or for the performance of any other obligations of the Supplier shall be of the essence of the contract.
